Ben's 1st Birthday

I don't know how it happened, but my sweet, tiny newborn just turned one. Has it really been a year? I am so thankful for my little Ben. Here's what he's up to at 12 months:

• eating table food
• drinking milk (he stopped nursing at 10.5 months)
• riding face forward in the car (he may or may not have been doing this for about 6 weeks now)
• crawling super fast
• standing up without holding on to anything
• cruising along furniture, pushing his walking toy
• talking- he can say hi, bye bye, mama, dada, dog, duck, bottle, jackson (in his own way), ball, cow, moo, banana, bath, fish...and will say the first syllable of any word you ask him to say
• loves to laugh, smile, play, eat, read books, snuggle, wrestle with Jackson, take baths, and sleep in his crib
  

We had a "Par-Tay, What What" (what Jackson called it) for Ben, family style. There was yummy food, cake, presents, balloons, and fun!

Tennessee

We've been in Tennessee this past week celebrating my grandmother's 90th birthday. It was so fun for all the family to be together!
