Play Day

I love days like today! We have just PLAYED! The fam came over for lunch(I'm the hostess with the mostess- we do it b.y.o.l. style). Now my boys are napping peacefully. It's the simple days like this that make my heart happy. :-)

New Years in Dallas

We've been in Frisco with the Davis crew this week. Leah and JR were in from Maui, so we were all there together!

Jackson wanted a "leaf blower just like daddy's" from Santa this year. I have NO IDEA where he came up with that. Santa did not disappoint!

The boys would have been so content to call it a day after finding tennis balls and m&ms in their stockings!

My fam came over for Christmas breakfast...french toast, bacon, mini frittatas, and hot chocolate! A great start to the day! Can you see James' t-shirt? It has the leg lamp from A Christmas Story on it!!!

Ben was more excited about the lego bucket than the legos.

Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas Eve here in Sugar Land. We attended our church's Christmas Eve service and had dinner at Ryan & Kathryn's house. Of course, we had to get to bed early for Santa!!!

Our friends Jolie & Lucas came over to play last week.

The highlight of my week last week was our progressive dinner. We had so much fun with our friends, and the food was delicious! We had a white elephant gift exchange. Ryan made this!!! Target card inside a jello mold!


In other news:

• Yesterday my mom and I got to go shopping WITHOUT kids. It went by way too fast!
• Jackson is in the childrens musical at church. The shows are next week. I can't wait to see it! He loves to sing and dance at home, but I'm not sure what he'll do in front of a crowd.
  
• We finally got out our christmas decorations. I love them!
