Our friends Ava & Lucy egged us! Have you heard of this? So cute!

Thanks Ava & Lucy! :)

Zoo

Our little fam went to the zoo recently. Our favorite time to go is on a weekday from about 4 to 7. All the school groups are gone and it really feels like you have your own private zoo! This was Ruby's first time to go and actually notice the animals. She loved it!

sweetest smile ever!

The A's

Jackson is playing Tball again this year with FCLL. He and his buddy Lincoln are on the A's. He has learned so much about the game and has really improved. He's quite the little ball player!

Rodeo

Ryan took the day off yesterday to take us all out to the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. We had such a fun family day! We watched pig races, did the petting zoo, rode ponies, ate delicious rodeo food, got chocolate milk from Elsie the cow, saw newborn animals, played on tractors, and did mutton bustin. It was a beautiful day, and we just had the best time!

Mutton Bustin' is like bull riding for kids. Except instead of bulls, they ride sheep! It is hilarious! This year at the Kids Country area they had a mutton bustin arena with shows every hour. We got Jackson signed up for the 12:00 show. He was so excited about it!

Jackson was teaching Ruby all about the animals. She learned a lot! ;)

Video of Jackson Mutton Bustin'!! They asked the kids what they wanted to be when they grow up. Jackson's answer was "a person who breaks down towers." I'm a proud mama- haha!
