Pa

My Pa (my mom's dad) passed away on June 8 at the age of 87 after a very short illness. We loved him so very much. He was the best pa and great grandpa! Here's some of my favorite pictures of Pa with my boys:

These words are from our family:
"Our family has been so encouraged and comforted during this season of grief through your many acts of kindness. We thank you for your love and compassion. Everyone in our family rises up in honor of Walter Goodall. He was a prince of a man. He will be missed but his influence in our lives is strong. Your many expressions of kindness during his illness and sympathy in his passing warm our hearts and lift our spirits. Thank you so very much."

"Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord, for they will rest from their labor and their works will follow them." Revelation 14:13

"Those that walk uprightly enter into peace; they will find rest as they lie in death." Isaiah 57:2

These were the flowers we grandchildren gave to Pa. There's playing cards, ping pong balls, and a basketball in the arrangement. The card says "Pa, thank you for always finding time to play with us."
Love you, Pa!

Photo Catch-Up

Uncle Ryan brought us donuts on his way to work! If that's not Ben's love language, I don't know what is. :-)

Memorial Day Weekend at the Farm

We packed up and headed to China Spring, TX last weekend to spend a few days at Great Dad & Great Mom's farm! I was worried about driving so far with Ruby since she usually SCREAMS in the car, but she did just great on her first road trip! Jackson and Ben enjoyed watching movies with their new headphones from Pops & GranMartha.

My, how times have changed! (Ryan Norman, remember how many times I made you watch The Sound of Music on our road trips?!!! Bet you wish we'd had this setup back then!)
Ruby was so happy to meet her Great Dad & Great Mom (@4 months old).
This was an intense game of I Spy Go Fish.

Uncle Morgan got to meet Ruby for the first time too!
Uncle Morgan read the boys a bedtime story.
Then, the boys wanted their Dad to read one too.
These boys spent hours throwing rocks in the pond.

Ben loves Great Dad's "go go cart"

Jackson is almost as tall as a horse!
We said hello to the cows many times.
FAMILY FUN DAY! All the kiddos enjoyed some pool time.
Ruby has a new BFF!
I sure do love my boys!
Ben enjoyed some tractor time with Great Dad.
Jackson was explaining the rules of Go Fish. We had a fun time playing!
Uncle Morgan and the kiddos played some football.
I told you Ruby has a new BFF.

The boys were helping Great Dad with some gardening.
They were so excited to find some "Larry's".
We always enjoy our time with Great Dad & Great Mom. What a fun weekend making special memories!
