Happy Birthday Papa John!

Jackson's Papa John & Nana came to visit this weekend. We celebrated John's birthday while they were here...Jackson loved the balloons! Ryan and his dad worked very hard this weekend installing french doors at our house. I LOVE them!!! It looks way better than the sliding doors from the 80's that were there!!! We're looking forward to a fun Thanksgiving weekend coming up...so much to be thankful for! A few pics from our little bday party:

What a fun weekend!!! Ryan & Kathryn surprised my dad and flew in this weekend for his 50th birthday. We all spent the weekend together...mostly eating and talking! So fun!!!

The Jackson Tour: Part Three

Our last stop was Columbia, TN to visit my dad's mom- Jackson's Great Grandmama. He sure loved being there. :-)

We had such a wonderful week in TN! Jackson was such a trooper!!! He did great on the flights there and back. Well, he did get a little fussy, but it wasn't bad. There was one guy sitting behind me on the plane who leaned up and asked, "Do you have a bottle?" when Jackson was crying. I just said, "No." I mean- who does that? How rude! We made it though. Home sweet home!

The Jackson Tour: Part One

We've joked that Jackson has been on tour lately! We went to Abilene last weekend. Then I took him to Lebanon and Columbia (TN) this week. He's visited all of his great-grandparents now and most of the family. Here are the pics from Abilene:

3 Months & Counting

Life at the Davis household has been busy, but good lately. We celebrated Jackson's 3 month birthday on the 10th. He's already so big!!! He weighs almost 14 pounds, holds his head up, smiles, laughs, "stands up", rolls over, "talks", and many more fun things. Last weekend we took him on his first camping adventure. We went to Camp Tomahawk on the FCYG retreat. He did awesome! I think he likes the outdoors. Sunday was a special day. because our sweet friend Phoebe got baptized...yeah!!! We had a fun party to celebrate! Jackson got to spend Monday with his Pops and GranMartha, since Ryan and I were sick. Thankfully that's over! We're getting ready to go to Abilene this weekend for Homecoming. Go Wildcats! Then Jackson and I are off to Tennessee next week to visit some relatives. I've been a major slacker about keeping up with the blog, so I'll try to do better! Here are some pictures of our little cutie!
