10 Months Old

Our "baby" is 10 months old!!! He is such a big kid now. I absolutely love spending my days with this little guy. He is Mr. Personality all the time. He loves getting people's attention and making them laugh! He is becoming much more interactive and is just so much fun. 

10 Things I Love About Jackson:

1. the way he smiles at us when he sees us from across the room
2. his slobbery kisses on the lips
3. the way he cuddles with me when he gets sleepy
4. his happy personality
5. the way he gets excited when we sing songs (ex: no more monkeys jumping on the bed)
6. the way he practically jumps out of my arms and laughs out loud when he sees his dad
7. his love of playing with any kind of ball (preferably golf balls)
8. his new love of sleep!
9. the way he loves his family (including Charlie the dog)
10. the way he follows me around the house...I think it's so funny!

I can't believe how quickly our Jackson is growing up. He is now taking 2 bottles a day, crawling, standing up, cruising, actually playing, occasionally eating food (when he's in the mood), over his separation anxiety (for now), sleeping most nights, and just loving life. What a joy he is!!!

We had a wonderful trip to Oklahoma the first weekend in May. We went to celebrate Leah's graduation from Oklahoma State University. Way to go Tia Leah...we are so proud of you!!!

We had an excellent visit to the doctor this week for Jackson's 9 month check-up. He had to get his finger pricked...so pitiful! Don't worry though- the shiny band-aid made it all better!!! I was thankful to get a healthy report.

Sleep Update- We have a sleeper on our hands these days!!! YEAH! Jackson has slept 12 hours straight the past 2 nights. I am such a proud mom!

9 Months Old

Happy (late) 9 Month Bday Jackson!!! These have been the best 9 months ever...especially way better than the 9 months before you arrived! I'm so proud of my little man. He is now SLEEPING (hallelujah!), crawling everywhere, pulling up, "talking" nonstop, and busy being the happiest baby boy.





Update from last time: Jackson and Ryan had a great father/son weekend together last weekend while I was gone. Everything went so smoothly, and I can tell that was a major bonding experience for them! Although I was so annoyed about pumping the whole time I was gone, it was so refreshing to get away with friends and not have any responsibility. I'm looking forward to my next girls weekend in May with my old 757 roomies!

So Happy & So Nervous...

I am SO HAPPY to announce that Jackson has slept for 10 hours straight the past 2 nights!!! WOOHOO! This is a first. It's amazing! Let's hope this continues...

I am also SO NERVOUS because I am leaving my baby this weekend with his daddy to go on a girls weekend to Austin. I think I have everything prepared, but I am still freaking out. I know Jackson will be so fine and I'll have a great time with friends, but this is definitely scary. Pray we all enjoy (or at least survive) this upcoming weekend!
