Uncle Ryan & Aunt Kathryn Visit Jackson

We had the best time with Ryan and Kathryn while they were here! We went to see Alan Jackson at the rodeo, ate at Chuy's, cooked together, played with Jackson, went shopping, and just had so much fun! We are so proud of Ryan for getting a JOB here...yeah!!! Can't wait for them to move here!

Tennessee

Jackson and I had a great trip to Tennessee last week! He was PERFECT on the airplane there and back!!! I was so thankful and proud! We had fun visiting my grandparents and extended family. Jackson got to see his first snow while we were there...no pics though b/c my grandmother instructed me to not take him outside in such weather!!!

We're looking forward to this weekend b/c Uncle Ryan and Aunt Kathryn will be here...yeah!!! There will be some cute pics from that coming up. Can't wait to go to the rodeo!!!

One more thing- this weather is awesome! I've been leaving the windows open and set up Jackson's playpen on the back patio. He couldn't be happier. Afternoon walks outside are quickly becoming his new fave activity! I'm looking forward to summer afternoons at the pool.

7 Months Old

Can you believe Jackson is now 7 months old? I can't!!! What a wonderful blessing he is! Here's what our little boy is up to these days:

• crawling...I have to chase him everywhere!
• laughing hysterically
• eating rice cereal, oatmeal, apples, pears, sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, and bananas
• having playpen time
• kissing girls on the lips (at Bible study!!!)
• hugging and kissing mom and dad
• spitting and blowing bubbles
  
• riding in the "big" stroller
  
• splashing and playing in the bathtub
• saying "dada"
• getting two top teeth
  
• drinking water from a sippy cup
• sleeping through the night...NOT! (wishful thinking)
• and much more!!!

Shout Out To Uncle Ryan

Thanks Uncle Ryan for checking Jackson's blog every day and requesting fully-clothed pictures! Jackson is all grown up now! He sits up by himself for long periods of time, claps, waves hi, eats food, and says "dada" all day long. He even went to the nursery at ladies bible class yesterday!!! (Am I so pathetic that I waited till he was 6 months old???) If only he would sleep...maybe one day! It's been FOREVER since I updated, so we have lots of pictures...enjoy! :-)

Jackson got a great report from the doctor this week. He had to get his 6 month shots...so sad. He's a healthy and growing boy!!! We've started eating some cereal and veggies. He's not very interested yet, but I think he'll get the hang of it soon. I'm hoping food = sleep!!!
